Thomas Roemmelt Mr. Roemmelt began in the business at a very young age while spending his summers working along side his brother Michael; it was these experiences that lead him to attending the American Academy of McAllister Institute of Mortuary Science where he graduated in 1992. Upon graduation he did his residency with the Fox family and worked with them for 5 years. During this time Thomas opened his own funeral service which entailed helping area funeral homes, embalming and transporting human remains. It was during this time he perfected his sills in all areas of funeral directing. His love for this business persuaded him to purchase, with his wife, Fox Funeral Home in 2003. Thomas met his wife, a funeral director, in 1995 while at Fox Funeral Home. They spent countless hours working together and married in May of 2000. Soon after they had their first child Thomas (2002) followed by their first daughter Kaitlyn (2005) and their newest edition Emily (2006). Janitza Soto Ms. Soto joined John J Fox& Sons Funeral Home in 2002 as a funeral director assistant. Since then she has graduated with honors from the American Academy McAllister Institute of Mortuary Science and is now working towards becoming a licensed funeral director. Ms. Soto is bilingual in English and Spanish, is courteous and compassionate and handles all aspects of funeral directing with dignity and respect. It is these traits that make her a great asset to John J Fox & Sons Funeral Home.
